Is there any way to set the default playback speed on the Podcast app to 2x? I listen to podcast almost exclusively at 2x speed and everytime I new podcast comes on the speed changes back to 1x. It would be incredibly helpful if there was a way to default to 2x instead of 1x for each new episode. THanks for any help you can provide!

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to preset playback speed in the Podcasts app.
A few others have complained about the same thing in these threads.

Thanks for the confirmation. Hopefully this is a desired enough feature that it gets implemented in the future. I'll leave feedback as you suggested. I would also like to know how you found those other threads-I did a cursory search but couldn't find anything discussing this same issue...
