Mountain Lion Up-to-Date Code: How Long?

wow lucky u. i wish i had that but oh my gosh i was going to get normal laptop and an ipad but decided to go for the macbook air because of the mountain lion release. but i am hesitated I've been waiting for over 40 hours and nothing yet. im really excited about the release but its just disapointing that apple can who always gets things done right cn make this simple release the right way. 😟 WHY!!! APPLE WHY!!!!!!

I agree....! Could people possibly be so shallow?? complaining about a software update taking 3 days to arrive when there are so many more important things in the world to worry about...

I guess Apple means to delay the redeem code distribution, then some people who do not want to wait will buy it.

Well I got the code right away and no email yet. Called apple they said 24 to 72 hrs. Why weren't the people that buy MacBooks taking care of 1st. Big for the apple. Chalk this one up on the rotten apple.

I completely agree, my retina cost me $2500 and received it on July 23rd, I would have expected that they would have pre-loaded my new software - this is not the customer service I expected from Apple!

Very Disappointed - considering just returning the laptop.

Same here. It's been over 24 hours. The update page said that I'd receive an email within 24 hours.

It's been 2 days and nothing yet, what the **** is Apple doing. I paid $2500 for Retina Pro and they can't even provide an update (that was promised before the purchase) on time.

Again, no help from Apple Support Team. Waiting for over 36 hours.

Dude, are you serious? You payed the money for an amazing computer. Apple doesn't have to give you anything more. But you're too impatient to wait longer than three days for something for free? I'm content that I'm getting a free copy of Mountain Lion. I'm sure they're busy processing tens of thousands of mountain lion requests, they're not prioritising you.

What actually annoys me is that after ringing up Apple Support, they said my request has actually been approved but the email hasn't been sent. This means that my purchase has been checked and approved but nothing happened after that! Wouldn't you expect that if it's been approved, an email would be sent almost instantly?

have not receive my code, it has been over 72 hours now 😟 I should just paid 20 dollar and get it now. Since I do have 100 dollar gift card from Apple.

i received it after 50 Hr but i read on the web site this offer valid for US and Canada after i submitted the request and my laptop from Kuwait that's why i purchased it and today they surprised me and sent the code for me
