Did not receive mountain lion redemption code

In other threads people are comlaining, that their code does not work, however I did not receive any, allthough I definitely should, because I bought my macbook pro 2 weeks ago.


Am I the only one? 🙂

Ive been waiting for over40 hrs still didnt receive anything in my mail box Fxxx apple ....


I think they jsut didnt want people to download ML at the same time which may caused slow donload for these who paid for it = UNFAIR TREATMENT !! Fxxx .... I paid $2000 for it >>..><>><><><><>< NOT $20

Called Apple Care and they told me that my request has been approved and I will get the code by tomorrow, completing the time frame of 72h.. Guys due to heavy traffic, request approval time frame is 72h.. Everyone will get the code eventually.


If you are really upset, call Apple Technical Support and get the status of your ticket.

Just got mine... took freaking 54 hours to get a keycode.


I still can't believe this wasn't an automated process or why the code wasn't in the box with my Macbook Pro Retina...


And to Plan_B - You can take your high and mighty attitude somewhere else. There is an implied expectation of service no matter how much a product costs. When I finally converted to Mac with this purchase I was told by people that the customer service was top notch and that is one of the reasons they pay more for their computers. This whole process was anything but top notch and if anything was an embarressment. Not a way to win over a consumer who may have a bit of buyers remorse after droping $3k on a laptop.
