SKYPE after 10.8 Update is Crashing Total!

After the Update to OS X Mountain Lion 10.8, SKYPE doesn´t work. On Skype Start-Up, it crashes

after some seconds! Before never hapend. Some idea?

Mac mini (Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.4)

I have the same problem, or I should say had 😉 I'm still not able to open Skype the normal way (so, by clicking the icon in apps or in lunchpad) but it works through Terminal

So hit cmd + space, type terminal and then paste this

/Applications/Skype.app/Contents/MacOS/Skype

Hit enter and it should work...

Hi there,

Just got this problem happening this morning. I updated skype, booted up Macbook Pro.. still crashing. Then I tried following:

I have external monitor attached and screen is extended.

I changed screen to be duplicated (just hit cmd+F1) to set the same screen to Macbook and external monitor and then started skype. Skype starts! After that you can change the screen back to extended with cmd+F1...

Weird and definitely not intended I guess, but works on my machine.
