Safari 6 - Google docs spreadsheet not functioning

I upgraded to Safari 6 and now can view, but not make entries or changes to any of my Google Doc spreadsheets. 😟

I have not upgraded to Mountain Lion, but noted in the Google Doc Discussion Forum at Google that someone else has posted there that they were having the same problem with their Google Doc spreadsheets when they upgraded to Safari 6, but they had upgraded to Mountain Lion.

So the problem appears to be with Safari 6 and not related to Mountain Lion.

Everything works fine with my Google Doc spreadsheets when I switch to and use Firefox 13.0.1.

Mac OS X (10.7.4)

Try unchecking: "Ask websites not to track me" under "Preferences > Privacy"; this worked for me (go figure...Google)

Personally, I happen to support "Do Not Track" functionality...so this is yet another reason to use Firefox...but Safari is nice once in a while, so I hope this works for everyone.

Apple, seriously, what ARE you doing about this?

It's been made fairly clear throughout this thread — and in numerous outposts elsewhere — that Safari 6 is the issue (I believe it to be too).

I'm a daily Google Docs user, they are immensely useful. I love Safari, particularly the new tab viewer and now I have to use Chrome. Which reminds me of using a PC. I don't like PCs.

Are you trying to phase out Safari and encourage third-party browsers to eat away at its market share? If you are, carry on doing nothing.
