Safari 6 - Google docs spreadsheet not functioning

Just adding my voice to the fray - same problem and I can confirm it is Safari 6. I had the problem before upgrading to ML. Very annoying that it has been several weeks already and no fix from either Google or Apple. I have to use Google Docs on a daily basis and it's bothersome to open Firefox or Chrome just to do that.

I have the same issue. Is there a way to go back to the previous version of Safari. Really wouldn't mind doing that as it worked correctly before. I use google docs heavily and I really don't like the idea of being nudged toward iCloud (which is the way I feel now).

I also have the same problems with Safari 6 and Google Docs.

I hope there will be a fix soon, but its worries me a bit that Google and Apple doesnt seem to be the holding hands anymore.. Dont know if that should affect these sort of issues though.

Google Chrome works with the docs (dahh), so I am using that for the moment until they fix whatever the issue is with Safari 6.

Try unchecking: "Ask websites not to track me" under "Preferences > Privacy"; this worked for me (go figure...Google)

Personally, I happen to support "Do Not Track" functionality...so this is yet another reason to use Firefox...but Safari is nice once in a while, so I hope this works for everyone.

That's a good suggestion, but unfortunately it didn't do anything for me, even after quitting Safari and trying again.

Same problem here, Safari 6 on Mountain Lion.

It works fine in Chrome.

Apple, seriously, what ARE you doing about this?

It's been made fairly clear throughout this thread — and in numerous outposts elsewhere — that Safari 6 is the issue (I believe it to be too).

I'm a daily Google Docs user, they are immensely useful. I love Safari, particularly the new tab viewer and now I have to use Chrome. Which reminds me of using a PC. I don't like PCs.

Are you trying to phase out Safari and encourage third-party browsers to eat away at its market share? If you are, carry on doing nothing.

since it appears to be fixed in the webkit nightlies, i'd guess that the next version of safari will most likely address the issue. the question is, when can we see an update, apple??

Same problem. Running Safari 6.0 on Mac OSX 10.7.4.

I had this issue for the last few months and just got my Docs working by Going to 'Develop > Enable WebGL' hope that helps you all.

'Develop > Enable WebGL' did not solve anything for me :-(
