iphone 4s icon missing from windows 7 64bit
when my iphone 4s is plugged into my computer running windows 7 64bit, the apple icon doesn't show up. instead, a generic camera icon shows up. is there a way to fix this?
thank you!

Did you ever sort this out? My iPhone 5s shows same generic icon - name is correct though with 'Waynes iPhone'.
If you or anyone else sorts this please let me know as I too have the same problem since upgrading to the iPhone 5S. Name is still correct although the icon is windows generic. My previous iphone 4 diplayed the correct icon including the colour of the phone.
Will do mate. I suspect it's not anything wrong with our windows but lazy programming by apple. Yet another feature (albeit insignificant) forgotten or dropped. I don't suppose they will fix this anytime soon as it will be an extreme low priority. They probably haven't even noticed this. But it does bug me so I will actively seek a fix and nots definetely share it on this thread of it can ever be found

Like you said not high on their priority list, but none the less an important feature. It's details like this that often make the biggest difference to the user experience.
Like you I will also actively seek a resolution for this, and keep you posted if I find anything.
