Mountain Lion Parental Control time limits are not "turning off" the computer when my kids time is up

I use the Parental Controls to limit how much time my kids spend on the computer. Since I installed Mountain Lion their account is not "turning off" when the time limit is reached. They are being allowed to stay on, it appears to be indefinitely. When the log out and try to log back in it indicates that because of Parental Controls they cannot until the next day. This worked perfectly with Lion. Am I missing a setting or something?

I, too have 4 kids, and the only one I don't want to have parental control issues is my 15-year old... and luck have it, that's exactly what is happening: no notification of 15 min. left before either total cumulative time allowed, or before scheduled log-off (e.g. 10pm). This never happened until 10.8.1 as far as I remember, and was not fixed by 10.8.2 nor the "supplemental" update. I have limits on application use set but not for web, and I've left some choice words for Apple feedback. Frustrating, as other issues I've brought to their attention have been resolved quickly. My other younger children, btw, use the iMac only occasionally, and time limits etc. aren't an issue. I'm not abdicating parental responsibilities when it comes to the older one, just frustrated that this used to work and now doesn't. If I can't find a solution this week, I'm going to reinstall Snow Leopard.
