Document sync doesn't work

Hi,

iCloud sync in iPhone, iPad and iCloud.com works perfectly. In Mountain Lion, Pages doesn't work. I get "Waiting" messages, downloading and uploading.

Settings are ok.

Look this image ("Esperando" = "Waiting"):

Can anyone help me???

Thx.

Thanks for this one! I tried it and it worked.

Now it syncs just fine.

A quick question though...

If I made a document on my Mac and save it to iCloud, it shows up on all my iCloud enabled devices (MBA, iPad, iPhone).

But if I created the document using my iOS devices, it shows up on all my iOS devices, but never on my Mac.

What gives?

I don't think 10.8.1 fixed this. iCloud, Mac, iPhone 4S iWork docs sync fine, but not my iPad2. Tried turning off then on iCloud sync on my iPad; most docs appeared but not all. Tried creating a doc on my iPad and I get the up arrow...

Neither .2 nor iOS6 upgrades fixed my problem. Genius Bar was stumped, too, saying they had never seen this problem. My next stop is tech support to ask for an iCloud acct reset; saw this worked for Lion6Alpha (his post below).

I FINALLY have this problem solved. It took, I don't know, almost three months of near-endless e-mails and calls with tech support but now I can synch everything everywhere.

The solution? Get the engineers to reset your account. And keep making them reset it until it finally takes.

I get the feeling the main problem is not that iCloud doesn't synch right but that when it does, it's a glitch inside the user's account and no one wants to just do the immediate and obvious thing: Reset the account. Once they finally did this, everything worked and still works across both Macs, my iPad, and my iPhone.

So, my suggestion is get in touch with tech support AND DO NOT LET THEM DROP YOU. KEEP BUGGING THEM UNTIL THEY BUG THE ENGINEERS.

Now that it's working I'm actually very pleased with iCloud as a transportation device.

Simple solution: forget about iCloud (too many issues which are only potentially solved by complicated work-arounds. Outrageous that this has STILL not been rectified by Apple - especially when one see how many posts there are re: the issue.) and just use SugarSync. Comes with 5Gb of free storage. Just indicate which folders you wish to have automatically synched and way you go. Documents are constantly updated across all devices.

One caveat: I sometimes notice the synching seems to slow my machine down a bit during first access to documents which can be annoying. If it is I simply turn off the synching and switch on again later. Any changes are then implemented automatically.

Hope that helps as an alternative until Apple gets this sorted out.

Thanks a lot. "Documents in the Cloud" had stopped syncing a week ago, I had tried logging out/in many times, restarted, and so on, with no avail. Then I deleted as you suggested the content of the "ubiquity" folder, rebooted the mac, and now everything works fine.

Thanks again.

Why is it that Apple doesn't even care making a step-by-step notice on resolving iCloud troubleshoot? The page in the KB just let you know that YOU are the one who certainly has made a mistake!
