Does anyone have an email client that is working with Mountain Lion? I'm giving up on Mail after installing Mountain Lion

Hi

I give up. I just cannot see my exchange inbox in Mail after installing Mountain Lion. My mail is not being deleted. Its still in my inbox I just can't see it. I've tried everything suggested on the forums and nothing is working for me.

My productivity has completely stalled and I really need to move to an email client that is going to work seamlessly with Mountain Lion.

Any recommendations?

My initial post about changing to outlook was because mail kept disappearing from my inbox. I have found a fix that is working for me.

An unrelated problem caused me to restore from a time machine backup (which had been made well after installing the mountain lion update). The next time mail opened it went through this set up process that ended with a window explaining all the new features of mail in mountain lion. Success. My mail box is now behaving perfectly! All my folders are visible, all my mail is visible and everything is stable. No more disappearing mail.

I am so happy to be able to come back to mail - outlook has been a beast.

Recently, I have encountered similar problem in my school. The Exchange server will report a bigger number than the amount of emails reported in Apple Mail (running both under OS X 10.7.5 and OS X 10.8.2). When I checked the actual mailbox folder under ~/Library/Mail/V2/, I found all the emails have been downloaded from the server. After a bit of checking, I found that this problem is caused by emails having duplicate Message-ID. Every email should have a unique Message-ID in the header but every now and then, emails with duplicate Message-ID will appear. They may not be the same email that have received more than once. In this case, Apple Mail will display only one of the emails with the duplicate Message-ID. In order to resolve this problem, I tried the command : "defaults write com.apple.mail AlwaysShowDuplicates -bool true" in a terminal windows and restarted the Apple Mail program. I saw this in : "https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3755752?start=0&tstart=0". This seems to resolve the missing mail(s) problem. Please give it a try and see whether this works.
