Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I updated my 13" macbook pro to Mountain Lion and since then, trackpad gestures (4 fingers up to go to mission control, etc.) are not working. I have to restart to get it to work.

The screensaver did not work for me but the typing killall Dock into terminal did fix the problem.
None of the above worked for me, using Disk Utility to repair permissions did. 🙂

This is the first time this has happened to me. It appeared after a wakeup from sleep. Another in the long list of issues I've been having with OSX ML.
In all the years I have been using OSX, Lion and Mountain Lion have to be the most unstable versions from Apple and I'm starting to look at PC's again. I neveer thought I would have to go there again.
Such a pity to witness Apple self destruct.
I was having the same problem... It was weird because almost all of my gestures were working EXCEPT my Mission Control. The "killall Dock" trick worked and everything is back to normal now
The screensaver off/on worked for me. So odd.
