Line styles on Pages

Is there a way to change the line style (border) around the high school newsletter in Pages? It comes uneven. I'd like to change it to an even line at the top, bottom and sides.

Select the border and you will notice small xs in the corners, it is locked.

Pages > Arrange > Unlock. Then set the border you want to use.

Best.

Another question for ya, since you seem to be the go-to person on this stuff. When I copy and paste a logo (whether it's jpg, bmp or png) onto a Pages template, it looks clean and fine...until I export as a pdf and open it up. Invariably, the logo has a few "blemishes" on it. Any suggestions? I'm at wits' end.

Not really the go-to guy. If I answer a question on this forum then any replys are sent to my mail box ( till I turn it off).. just answering my mail at this stage 🙂

OK default template plus png > saved as pages with no blemishes > saved as pdf, again no blemishes. Part cut off as png to attach here.

No real idea why you are having that problem except that I do not have adobe pdf reader installed as opening & saving as pdf is built into the Mac OS.

Great to hear.

No doubt you know but just in case:

⌘ Shift 4 = Select area to Capture to .png. Shows measurements by the curser.

⌘ Shift 3 = Capture screen to .png.

⌘ Shift 4 then press space-bar = a shot of a single window & drop shadow

The .pngs are put on the desktop.

Use control at the same time and they just copy to clip board so you can paste from there.

Check the Utility app 'Grab' for more Options.
