Mac AppStore Update Apps Error "NSURLErrorDomain-Error -1100"

Strange isn't it? I got the error: (NSURLErrorDomain fout -1012.)

Try adding the DNS Servers: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

Open System Preferences > Network > (Select your means of connecting to the network) > Advanced > DNS

LOTS of people are receiving this error (including myself). It probably has nothing to do with your computer at all but the fact that Apple's servers probably weren't prepared for the massive numbers of attemped updates, specifically for the iTunes update. DNS fixes have been posted, but these don't work for me. Unfortunately, probably the best solution is either to wait or, if you're looking for the update to iTunes, go to: http://support.apple.com/downloads/ where you can find the latest software. After downloading the latest version of iTunes, mine was listed as being the latest version.

Same error here in Bulgaria! I already received and response from the Apple Support that this is a temporary server issue by Apple. When it sounds relaxing for you, then...........relax.😁

Same issue here, tried changing the DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4, that did not work and also tried erasing softwareupdate.plist and restarting the appstore, no joy.

I have the same problem all day here in the Netherlands..... no update downloads from Software Update.....

I have the same issue and the above fix of adding in the 2 other DNS numbers does not work. ARG!
