I can't get my signature to come up on my emails all of the sudden. Anyone know what the problem could be? This happenned when I changed my email server and created a new mail account to go with it. I assigned the signature to the new account but when I write a new email I can't get the signature to come up.

I have been trying to figure this out for awhile. I deleted and old signature and tried to add my new one. It would not show up time after time…… after time! I kept messing with it over and over and somehow it finally worked. I am not sure but I think there may be a period of time before it actually updates the information??? I had been going immediately to compost a new email to see if it was not there. While sitting here in frustration…. It all of a sudden worked on the next attempt to write an email. Good Luck to all! This can be rather frustrating at times. Seems they would just have a "Save Signature" button if you asked me! Guess that would be to simple! lol

"If you have multiple email accounts in Mac Mail, consider checking the "Preferences -> Composing" setting and select which account you would like to be your default in the "Send new messages from:" dropdown menu."
On my Mac (not iDevice), whenever I made a change to text or formatting to a signature within my Signatures Preferences Pane, the changes would remain in effect until I quit Mail and relaunched it. At that time, they'd revert to the original signature content and format.
After trying a bunch of solutions to no avail, I found a simple one that worked:
From the Signature Prefs Pane within Mail:
-Select signature
-Make formatting changes
-Select All
-Copy
-Click "+" button to create a new signature
-Paste into new signature pane
-Rename signature to whatever you want to call it
-Save original signature just in case you have issues
-Quit Mail, then relaunch it and confirm the changes are still in place

I have found a solution to getting the choice of signatures to show up in the drop down field. It will only show 'none' if you have one or two signatures, but when you add three signatures which can all be the same, it will then give you the option to select a signature. Hope this helps.

I never had a mail signature problem until I upgraded to Sierra. Now, my signatures are listed, but are blank when you click on them. I HAVE A LOT OF SIGNATURES that I use every day. All of that work is gone. If anyone figures out a fix, I'll try anything. Thanks.
I had the same Problem , I had Google mail once i got rid of Google mail i could use Signatures again
