tampabay.rr.com email stopped working in iphone

I have not been able to receive Roadrunner email in my iPhone for two days now. I have not changed any settings. I tried deleting and recreating the email account and it is still not working. Incoming mail server: pop-server.tampabay.rr.com; Outgoing mail server: mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com I can retrieve email via webmail on a PC and I can receive email on my iPhone when I'm inside my home network. Now that I have deleted my email account on the iPhone, I cannot create it. Now it says pop-server.tampabay.rr.com is not responding.

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1.1

Monday was also the last day that email worked for me. Maybe AT&T was ... slow to release the details of their problem.

prussel4, you added the email account... But are you able to send and receive mail with your wi-fi shut off on your iphone?

I also tried the remove cookies/ data solution, several times yesterday, without success.

This morning, my email started connecting.

Mine started to work this morning. Someone finally got to BH or AT&T and got them to fix the problem.

Yes, I started receiving roadrunner email on my iphone outside my home wireless network this morning.
