My iMessage will send texts but not pictures

I'm also having the same issues. I noticed it when I was in a group chat with a couple friends and all my pictures wouldn't deliver to them. If I'm in a regular chat with only one friend, the picture won't deliver through iMessage but once it fails it automatically sends as a text message.

Pictures won't send through my iMessage whether i'm connected to wifi or not.

I've tried everything mentioned above to fix it as well but nothing! So annoying!!

Actually now that you mention it, the credit card assoiciated with my account also expires this month...

I've been having this same issue since last night. Whether I'm in wi-fi or not. My credit card associtated with my account doesn't expire any time soon. I'm wondering if this has anything to do with the new upadate. I haven't updated from 6.1.2 yet though. Very frustrating.

Switched to a completely separate apple ID - no change. However after sending the first test message - about a minute later - I got a random TEXT (not iMessage) Message from an unknown number and the message itself was "message not found". Have no clue if that's related.

My App Store downloads seem to be fine now.

No improvement on image messages.

This started with 6.1.2 and has carried over to 6.1.3 for me.

I'm having the exact same problem! None of my pics will go out by iMessage in a single text or a group chat. But I do still receive pics as iMessages tho..? I also don't have mms picture ability so this is really annoying. I've updated the software and everything else I could think to do. It started doing this yesterday afternoon but none of my friends are having this problem.

Also, Does anybody from Apple ever come in these discussions to help with these problems or is this just so people can try to resolve these issues amongst themselves? I have never been in one of these discussions so I was just curious.

I am having the same issues. It started yesterday evening on 3/20/13, and has continued. The pictures won't send from any imessage enabled device.

Yes, I can no longer send photos via imessage, it always fails then tries to send it as text. VERY annoying. Plain text seems to send via Imessage just fine. Seems to have happened in the last few days.

From yesterday noon, my iPhone 5 6.1.2 cannot send pictures via imessage, text being fine.

Same here, my other iPhone 5 on my account is still working perfect. As is my friends on the same cellular provider/iOS/phone.

My iPad, iPhone, MacBook Pro, all fail to send pictures via iMessage. iMessage servers are experiencing problems for sure.. the thing is.. how do you notify Apple?

Is there a way to alert Apple to this other than these forums? Seems to be a pretty significant issue for multiple users, and I'm not sure if Apple support follows these threads or not. I live in a bad cell phone reception area, so being able to send pictures via imessage over wifi is crucial.

I'm having the same issue with iphone4s ios 5.1.1, I just noticed a few hours ago. I restarted the phone, removed the sim card and put it back, reseted network settings and still no working wifi nor 4g. But I switched the sim card with my sister's iphone 4 ios 6.1.3 and it worked! I don't know what to do now, is no working on my phone. And I don't want to update to ios 6.x.x since it's not secure at all.

Has anyone tryed something else?

I am having the same problem myself!! I thought I was going crazy I been sitting here doing everything possible and nothing. I was even on the phone with apple care yesterday for over a hour and he told me that he looked into the servers and saw no issues but now that I am seeing this their is definetly a server issue here. Let me know if anyone else speaks to a apple rep. I almost restored my phone but thank God I didn't.
