HOW TO REMOVE BROKEN 3.5MM JACK FROM IPAD?

I had the same problem. The far end of the jack got stuck in my phone.

I used a small screw. Just pushed a little while I was twisting the screw.

The screw went into plastic body of the jack. Pulled and voila the jack came out.

First try was successful!!!

This is exactly what I did.

Luckily for me, I know a clock/watch repairer (personal friend).

I visited her and with her special eyeglass magnifier with strong light, and her jewelers/watch repair tools, she had the broken piece safely removed promptly.

I 'wasted' less than 3 minutes of her time.

Charge = free.

BY far the best suggestion. Had to heat copper wire with blow torch as my electrical sodering gun would not get it hot enough but voila...worked like a champ..

You could also try a real jeweler - one who makes and repairs

jewelry. He will have a large collection of tools for dealing with

small objects.

I used an ink tube, with a dab of super glue inside it. Hold the ipad upside down to prevent glue dripping out of ink tube. Worked first time.
