iTunes match not connecting

Could you post their response? It would be nice to know that the problem is on Apple's end

Not working for me either – been down since last night here in Albuquerque.

Same here in NY. I've been trying since last night. VERY displeased with this Apple product/service...Match is the worst Apple purchase I've made, thankfully it was only $25. I am about to ditch it completely.

Same here, in Atlanta, GA. I had previously matched my entire library, now, not even updating works. I get the same connection timed out error. Running Mac OS X 10.8.1.

Error while trying to update iTunes Match:

WE COULD NOT COMPLETE YOUR ITUNES STORE REQUEST. THE NETWORK CONNECTION WAS LOST.

THERE WAS AN ERROR IN THE iTUNES STORE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.

This has been happening all day. My network connection is fine and no changes have been made to either my network, my computer or iTunes.

We are paying for this product, Apple. Please Fix.

This keeps happening to me too in Canada.Have tried turning iTunes match off and on, I reinstalled iTunes, it connects to the iTunes Store just fine but won't update my iTunes match. My Genius is oddly enough trying to update as well and seems to be failing. I hope this gets fixed soon I'm out of ideas..

Here is what worked for me.

I turned off iTunes Match. This also turned off Genius (which I had never activated).

I turned on Genius and went through the steps to activate it.

I then turned on iTunes Match.

Both iTunes Match and Genius then became active.

iTunes Match then worked normally.

It found the additional 52 songs I added yesterday and is uploading them to iCloud.

Prior to activating Genius, iTunes Match would get stuck at step one then a dialog box would pop up saying that there was a Network Connection error, just like what is mentioned in this thread.

That didn't work for me. I think it may have been coincidence on your part. In general it sounds like its down at apples end. Are you still able to connect without any problems?

Same problem. It's frustrating because there's very little info from Apple on service issues for iTunes Match.
