Hardware Test Error

I just did a hardware test and got this code:

ERROR: 4SNS/1/40000000 'TmOP'

Does anyone have any idea what is that supposed to be..

Thanks for your help.

Hi there Attorney, what were you doing on a Swedish website 🙂

Anyways, ERROR: 4SNS/1/40000000 'TmOP
I just didn't want to wait until today to call Applecare , so packed the MBP and went to Regent St. store yesterday.
They were very nice and attentive, the genius admitted that these problems are just new and they don't have much training on it yet. However he did a NVRAM reset and after that we ran the AHT twice and no problems were found!

So that's a valid remedy but not a very long term one I guess

My MacBook doesn't seem to be running very hot, but on a whim I decided to run the Apple Hardware Test.

I'm getting the same error everyone else is reporting no matter how many times I run the test. This is my second MacBook Pro.

Though I've owned many Apple products since 1992, this is the first time I've ever bought something that is revision A (with the exception of the original iPod). I'm starting to understand the legendary revision A bite that other Apple users talk about. At this point, I think I'm going to get my money back and wait for Apple to iron all the bugs out.

Hi there Mike, I did check the battery it reads 5628 mAh.. The reason why they didn't replace anything is because i didn't want to leave my notebook there. After all the warranty is still valid for the next 11 months, I will only give it to them once I know that all the issues are satisfactorily resolved and the technicians are confident in their solutions. No point in sending it now for repair and then again in a months time..that's what my train of thoughts are.
regards

Hi London,

Your Mah is high thats good how much time do you get? Well I took mine in they replaced the logic board and the thermal heat sensor unit. Also my eject key was slightly off so they put a new keyboard in. The computer still seems to run hot but I just got it back. Going to see If I can get an error again or if it's gone. I have the three year apple care so If i have to I'll send it back again or have them give me a new one until it runs well.............not so hot. Will keep you and others posted. It did suck not having my laptop for 10 days,
