iCloud mail is down AGAIN

I think Apple could have some ******-off customers during their big product announcement tomorrow!

the more mistakes they make like this, the more their credibility goes down the drain.

how can they get up on stage and say, "hey, we know our **** was not working, but we can fix that so buy our new ****!"

I just talked to a service tech who was unawarre of the problem. After a while he confirmed that there was, in fact, a problem. He said that part of the trouble probably is there are so many new users that the system is being overwhelmed. So those of us who started out with a .mac account many years ago, paid for it annually, and then endured the forced conversion to .me and subsequently icloud, are out of luck.

This is my primary email for work, and everything else. I guess I'll have to shop around. I'm getting inundated with offers for various male enhancements that I don't need. Being female. Anyone have a suggestion for a good, reliable, email service?

Still down in Denver. Man, this has really cost me. Is there any indication of how long this will last? Don't believe anything you are told by the PR people. This sounds like a very large failure, not some "less than" 1% bull. Apple has to be more professional in the way they handle these things. They try to keep it under the radar to avoid bad publicity, to protect the stock, but do so by ticking off their own exisitng customers - **** we are more than customers, with a MacBook Pro, iPAD, IPhone, MINI, extra screens... **** we are what makes Apple what it is, and they ignore us in our time of need. Not good. We miss you Steve Jobs.

Down in Nice France for 11:23 GMT+1, has been down for past 13 hours. It appears that I'm able to send mail using Mail, at least Mail makes its whoosh and the email goes away, but it doesnt' appear in my sent messages. iCloud mail interface on browser will not load. Has there been any explanation?

Unable to open Mail on iCloud.com for one of my iCloud accounts. I can send from the Mail app on my desktop, but not receive. Quite a long outage. If this was my main email address, I would be very upset. Hate to see such an embarassing glitch right before a major product announcement.

Mine has been down all day...I'm about to punt my macbook pro, ipad, and iphone into Tampa Bay, as I use this email for business and I have no idea who has been trying to contact me all day other than the ones who have call ****** off as to why I have not gotten back to them. One hour, two hours, maybe even 5 hours is acceptable, but all **** day isn't, and ASAP isn't cutting it anymore. This is b.s.!

WHAT IS GOING ON I HAVE BEEN OUT OF AN EMAIL ACCOUNT ALL DAY. I WORK WITH THIS EMAIL AND GOOD THING I HAVE A SECONDARY EMAIL OTHERWISE I WOULD BE SCREWED. I READ THAT THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING TO 1% OF USERS WHICH I THINK ITS A BUNCH OF CRAP. YALL APPLE PEOPLE NEED TO GET YOUR **** TOGETHER IM LOSING MONEY WITH THIS **** BEING DOWN. FIX IT..

Still down in Connecticut - been down since 6am (now coming up on 6pm) ugh. I've been with Apple since eWorld (remember that?), mobileMe and iCloud. I hate having to consider gmail... hoping something wonderful comes tomorrow.

Been down in Venice, CA since 1am. It is now almost 3pm. I have a gazillion Apple products. There should be a credit to our subscriptions or send us something redeemable from the iTunes / App store. SOME compensation should be required. RIDICULOUS for a company that large / rich.

Been down all day, on all devices in Atlanta. Thank goodness I dont use this account for business. I've been thinking about switching to gmail for my personal use. One more tick mark in the "Move" column. Sorry Apple, but this is rediculous.

Been down here in San Jose since 9-10AM this morning. Maybe Apple has desided it's users don't really need email any longer and will glamor us into using iChat instead. Or maybe they are trying to shed their legacy .mac users - worked for me - I have spent the day moving all my stuff over to google, of course that means google will probably start charging for email calendar and contacts soon.

Has anyone been restored? Do you know of anyone who has been restored? How can an international failure like this from Holland to Australia be .17%? I read that Apple is introducing new features into iCloud for tomorrow, with new/improved apps, and so on. It would not be surprising if this was one of those, OOPS, I broke it trying to fix it, problems. They will never admit it though. Like many of you, my work has genuinely suffered as a result of this. It would be one thing if say, your iPhone was out, but when iCloud fails our entire systems go limp. Please keep posting. Misery loves company.... and good to hear from all of you around our beutiful planet.

Last email recieved was at 10:15 p.m. YESTERDAY!! In Louisiana...spent all morning trying everything on every device...then , small feed that said there was a small problem...less then 1%, yeah right. Can they give us a small note when it will be fixed?

Down here too in Palo Alto CA too. This keeps happening to me (aparently I am the 1% every time) and has me rethinking Apple as an email provider. I am a big Apple supporter, but not a fan of their email reliability or service.

Same here in New York. I've been down since approximately 6:00 am.

It is my primary email and of course I've had not one email all day. Time now is 18:30. No word from Apple on when it'll be back either.
