iCloud mail is down AGAIN

I am NOT a happy camper, Apple - can't get email once again because iCloud Mail is down. Again.


Fix it. Get it right. When I read that it affects only a "small number" of users that means nothing. I'm ALWAYS ONE OF THOSE AFFECTED.


Sorry for the shouting - I haven't had my coffee yet.


Grrrr.

I just talked to a service tech who was unawarre of the problem. After a while he confirmed that there was, in fact, a problem. He said that part of the trouble probably is there are so many new users that the system is being overwhelmed. So those of us who started out with a .mac account many years ago, paid for it annually, and then endured the forced conversion to .me and subsequently icloud, are out of luck.


This is my primary email for work, and everything else. I guess I'll have to shop around. I'm getting inundated with offers for various male enhancements that I don't need. Being female. Anyone have a suggestion for a good, reliable, email service?

Still down in Denver. Man, this has really cost me. Is there any indication of how long this will last? Don't believe anything you are told by the PR people. This sounds like a very large failure, not some "less than" 1% bull. Apple has to be more professional in the way they handle these things. They try to keep it under the radar to avoid bad publicity, to protect the stock, but do so by ticking off their own exisitng customers - **** we are more than customers, with a MacBook Pro, iPAD, IPhone, MINI, extra screens... **** we are what makes Apple what it is, and they ignore us in our time of need. Not good. We miss you Steve Jobs.

Mine has been down all day...I'm about to punt my macbook pro, ipad, and iphone into Tampa Bay, as I use this email for business and I have no idea who has been trying to contact me all day other than the ones who have call ****** off as to why I have not gotten back to them. One hour, two hours, maybe even 5 hours is acceptable, but all **** day isn't, and ASAP isn't cutting it anymore. This is b.s.!

Been down here in San Jose since 9-10AM this morning. Maybe Apple has desided it's users don't really need email any longer and will glamor us into using iChat instead. Or maybe they are trying to shed their legacy .mac users - worked for me - I have spent the day moving all my stuff over to google, of course that means google will probably start charging for email calendar and contacts soon.

Has anyone been restored? Do you know of anyone who has been restored? How can an international failure like this from Holland to Australia be .17%? I read that Apple is introducing new features into iCloud for tomorrow, with new/improved apps, and so on. It would not be surprising if this was one of those, OOPS, I broke it trying to fix it, problems. They will never admit it though. Like many of you, my work has genuinely suffered as a result of this. It would be one thing if say, your iPhone was out, but when iCloud fails our entire systems go limp. Please keep posting. Misery loves company.... and good to hear from all of you around our beutiful planet.
