iCloud mail is down AGAIN

I am NOT a happy camper, Apple - can't get email once again because iCloud Mail is down. Again.

Fix it. Get it right. When I read that it affects only a "small number" of users that means nothing. I'm ALWAYS ONE OF THOSE AFFECTED.

Sorry for the shouting - I haven't had my coffee yet.

Grrrr.

I'm in Menlo Park (SF Bay Area). iCloud email has been down for me since 12:30 AM.

Apple's products are awsome but the company is clearly is not ready to be one's primary email or collaboration tools provider.

At a five nines lievel of reliabilitly, the service should have been restored at least 6.5 hours ago--and that's assuming this was the only outage this year, and that's clearly NOT the case.

I visited my local Appls Store (Stanford Shopping Center/Palo Alto) an 2 hours ago and they professed ignorance of the problem and were unaware of the many Apple Support Community postinge on the situation. They told me to delete myiCloud account and set up a fresh instance of the account. Don't bother trying that remedy, it doesn't fix the problem.

My mail has been down since last night. I googled it earlier in the day and didn't see anything about an outage so I figured it was just my iPhone. Here it is 6:30 pm CST and mail is still down. When I checked Mac Rumors they didn't have any coverage of it so I sent them an anonymous email "tip." Now there is a brief blurb up about it with the comments turned off and a quote from an Apple spokesperson who of course declined to comment, instead pointing them towards the company system status update page.

At this point I really don't care if it's related to the big event tomorrow or not. For a company to purposefully underestimate the number of users affected (no way are just 1.1% of users affected) and then not give any kind of an udpate at all is horse ****. I've always been a diehard Apple fan but this is enough to make turn once again towards the dreaded "W" word.

Get your **** together Apple and do it fast.

Hour 18 for me without .me email access in Los Angeles. Bummer that this is my primary email provider. I guess I'll be going back to yahoo or some other -mail account. SOOOO bummed out. This is inconceivable that a huge company can put their customers in such a rut regardless of a giant pending software and/or hardware launch to follow. 18 hours is just too long to be without an essential service. My email went out at 10:30pm PST in Los Angeles last night and it's just after 4:30PM PST and I still can't even use the gmail server on my iPhone either. This is crap!

Our iClound based email has been down since late last night and still not up at 7pm, central time. This is business email and very inconvenient at a critical fall shipping time. We operate out of Mexico. From reading the posts, this is affecting a limited number of accounts throughout the world. Frustrating with potential losses.
