iPhone 5 preorder says it will ship in two weeks

Btw, I used to work at a call center. U gotta call and speak to a manager. Most of the people who answer right away were probably hired 2 weeks ago and taught how to look at an order screen just for the iPhone 5 release, they're probably only working there until about 2-3 months after release. So you gotta somehow get someone on the phone who's been working there for a while, like a manager, who would have the power to change something like that. By now I don't think you'll get it by Friday, but if you can make him/her feel bad for u they'll try to help. If you start blaming people and gettin ***** though they're just gonna say whatever they have to to get u off the phone and chalk it up to you being a dooshb@g even though you're right. Make up a story if u have to just get them to feel bad for u, not be annoyed with you.

Where do you get cases at? I missed that.

Thanks. Yeah, I didn't even want a case but I decided to go ahead and just order one. Might as well since it is free with the exception of shipping. Wish they had an orange one though. I'll just use it when I want to set it down at work or something.

For everyone who had theirs delays two weeks. Mine updated to "preparing for shipment" so it's moving along finally. Congrats to all who got theirs today!

Mine was originally oct 5 but card was charged and status is now preparing for shipment. Ordered the 14th at 630 am est. I'm in Florida. Finally some movement. Looks like ill get it before I leave October 4th for vacation. Yippie!

just woke to find that my phone that was scheduled for Oct 5 delivery has SHIPPED! new delivery date of Sept 28 - wow!!! can't believe how excited I was to see that email, lol!!!

Me too! I just got the same email that my phone was shipped and is now due Sept. 28th instead of Oct. 5th! I orderd mine on the 14th at about 6 AM EST

hey i ordered my iphone on the 16th of september. I know it was a bit later than most of you. It says it will be available 2-3 weeks and come in on october 11-17 which doesnt seem right. Do any of you know if it will probably come in before the 11th?
