iPhone 5 Pre-Order Delivery Date

my iphone 5 was in Nashiville for 2 days (16&17) and just now arrived in Louisville, KY at 10am.

I don't know if you watched the iPhone 5 video or not, but the chances of faulty iPhones this time around are SLIM. Jony Ive said it himself, with 28MP cameras scanning the unibody of every iPhone 5 to the T, there has never been any phone or any product that even Apple has made with such precision. Stop trying to ruin it for all of those who will be getting our phones on the 21st. Grow up.

I too have a job. I managed to set an alarm for 0157. Wake up-place order-go back to sleep until 0500 when I normally get up for work.

Mine (along with a whole shipment out of Foxcon in China) arrived in Louisville, KY last night around midnight, and it hasn't moved since.

I have a feeling, since this is a major UPS hub, that they are being collected there and will start to trickle flood out to the rest of the country starting Wednesday or so. Despite the long journey from China to Hong Kong to Korea to Alaska to Kentuckee, my Apple Order page still says "Preparing for Shipment," which is why I think that; Apple won't consider them "shipped" until they leave KY.

For the record, my posts were never intended to discourage those that are getting their phones on time. Ruining the experience never crossed my mind, especially since nobody has a phone in their hand yet. I simply wanted to comfort and help those going through my very same experience.

As far as my statement regarding possible flawed phones, there most certainly will be. But once again, this was not intended to ruin the experience. I was simply comforting those in my same situation.

No Apple will not sent your tracking # until a day before delivery, I remember when they ship iPhone 4 FexEx website crushed numerous times due high volume of people tracking their iPhone 4. I have same thing still says "Preparing for Shipment," while the package left AK;

There are several people on these forums who's orders have advanced to "Shipped" and who received tracking numbers days ago. But you may be correct for FedEx shipments. Mine is UPS.

Mine is also UPS, I am talking about couple yrs ago when Apple luanch iPhone 4.

I was lucky enough to do the whole transaction on 09/14 in a few mins. Got the confirmation mail in about 2 -5 min. My delivery date is showing as 09/21 and the package is shipping out of Nashville TN.

Hi, I ordered mine after they took the Store down due to the high demand on the 12th, around 17:00 UK time and have been given a delivery date of the 1st October.

To those of you who have been through this process with the 4S and its predecessors, are these dates usually accurate? Im just wondering if its likely to be delivered earlier (between the 21st September and the 1st October)??
