Any updates from anyone on iPhone 5 shipping? (for people w/ Oct. 5 delivery)

I got the same exception - missed the scheduled connection to the Bay Area. I guess I'd be surprised if it moved today, more likely Monday. I'd LOVE to be surprised, though!

Ordered mine on the 14th at 4:15 AM EST and was also given a October 5th delivery date but received mine on Wednesday, 9/26, so I think they were under promising to over deliver.

Not bragging, just saying some may be pleasantly surprised when they receive it before 10/5.

Those of us still on this thread (for the most part) were all promised a revised delivery date of yesterday, 9/27 (although originally 10/5) and all got stuck for days in Korea/China. We are constantly being surprised just not in a "good" way. 😉

Totally understand... I was given a revised date of 9/28 but just grateful for anything before 10/5. One of my friends got it on release day by getting in line at an Apple Store at 7:30 A.M. and had his phone by 8:30 A.M. (in NYC) so that was pretty annoying. Once the order is placed it's difficult to cancel and just opt to brave the lines since your upgrade eligibility is locked to your order so that was the source of my frustration.

We'll all live through this. It's just been a rollercoaster ride!

Mine has actually been "out for delivery" from San Ramon for 2.5 hours ... EEP!! 🙂

Just an update: Both phones have been delivered and are now sitting in their boxes on my kitchen counter. I'm at work and have dinner plans, so they'll be sitting there until after 8 PM tonight before I do anything with them, but they are at least FINALLY here! :-)

WHy don't we start with why did I have to be up at 3AM. On the east coast it was 9/14 at 12:01AM yet the site was down. Sorry, but the world does not revolve around Cupertino, CA. If the date to pre order is 9/14 then that means 9/14. Did they not know 70% of the country would hit 9/14 before Cupertino did? Has the most tech savy company in history not heard of time zones?

I just called UPS and they are doing a saturday delivery to me tomorrow! Yahoo!!!!! I don't have to wait until Monday!
