Just updated to iTunes 10.7.0.21. Since the update, every time I start running another program on my computer, any thing i'm playing in iTunes starts skipping. It doesn't matter whether it's a podcast, music, audiobook. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Not sure if you have noticed this, but since upgrading iTunes is consistently bouncing around between +/-30-90% CPU useage as well as this cutting/skipping of music playback... I suspect they are related, but can't say for sure.

The below tweaks DID NOTwork:
I repeat, the above DID NOT work.The following DID WORK (Windows 7, 64bit)
Downgradedto iTunes 10.6.3.25 and no skipping, buzzing or stalling even if the processor is really working.
If you Google "downgrade iTunes" you can find instructions on how to do it without losing your library, playlists, settings, etc.
Note: I will not upgrade to 11 (even if that fixes the problem) until I can open a playlist in a separate window.

Had to erase and re-sync but all seems well.
