Ever since I opened an iCloud account, my new contact groups have been made through my iCloud account. I'd like to get rid of the old groups that are listed as "on my iPhone". Any ideas?

Can you find those groups in Contacts on your iPhone, edit the group and delete it?
Not that I can see. Whenever I open the group up, the only options I have on the top bar is "Groups" which goes back to the previous screen and "+" which allows me to add a new contact to that group. As far as I can tell, I don't see anyway to edit the group.
