iPhone is not recognised by iTunes, but is by Windowns 7.

Hi, I have an issue. Every time I connect my iPhone 4s to my PC, iTunes doesn't see it! It happened before with my iPod touch 2nd gen, and also I had the same issue with my new iPod nano touch. None of these devices were recognised by iTunes... I have had a look at the support section on apple, and also on the internet in general, and none of the things suggested to me have not worked 😟 please help, because without the ability to connect, I cannot do much with my apple devices.

I have this problem too, since update my iTunes to 10.7...

Now iTunes can't see my iPhone 4S but i can still open photos folder.....

I tried everything also, gave up and removed everything apple from my PC, turned off the PC and turned PC back on and reloaded everything apple. It takes some time and is a pain, but this is the only thing that worked for me...I have to do this every time there is an update to itunes also..

I am having problems with restoring my iPhone which stalled during the upgrade to the new operating system. I got hte 3194 error and followed all the steps, but now with the new version of iTunes, it doesn't recognize my iPhone so it would continue with the restory. I have windows vista. any help would be much appreciated!

ALso, I am scared to uninstall and then reinstall itunes for fear of losing all my music. And of course, I have no idea how to back it up.
