Did you try setting H TTP to auto? Go to the wifi settings and tap on the little blue arrow. Then at the bottom tap HTTP to Auto.

Well, I'll tell you one thing, if they don't have it fixed by the time my iPhone 5 is delivered this Friday, I will refuse delivery and send it back!

This disaster is totally unacceptable! Wonder if fans will still be lining up to grab Apple's official release of the iPhone 5 on Friday?

My brain has been totally fried since last Wednesday. Everyone, including myself, has gotten all worked up over iPhone 5 and iOS 6, etc., and this fiasco is insane.

Yes, let's hope that all is fixed and well in less than 24 hours. Otherwise, I will most likely defect to the Samsung Galaxy 3! I had the Galaxy Note for a brief while and loved it, other than the fact that it was way too large for my hands to grasp.

I wish you the best in resolving everything!

For now, I am holding off updating any of my devices.

This simple step actually solved the wifi issue on my iPad 3, after upgrading to IOS 6 via WiFi.

I'm experiencing same issue here. Ipad3 - Router: wgt624v3, I tried every configuration, several resets - no solution yet. Everytime I try to connect to the router the connection fails. Since there is no QOS - WMM (Wireless Mulitmedia) setting on wgt624v3, i couldn't try to switch that on, which seem to help several people on ios6beta.

I'm actually watching a 43-minute YouTube video on the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I am having flashbacks of the Galaxy Note. I am seriously thinking of scrapping the iPhone 5 and getting the S3 instead.

I agree with you, Apple hasn't really changed all that much over time. I passed on the iPhone 4S last year, waited patiently for the iPhone 5, and I really think I am going to be disappointed with it. I am tired of having Facebook shoved down my throat (although I understand this is an option in iOS 6), and I despise Yelp, so I would have no use for it with regard to Siri and Open Table, or anything else for that matter. Finally, doing away with Google Maps and introducing Apple Maps is going to be nasty. Apple partnered with TomTom, who is notorious for having a less than desirable mapping system. The more I look at the new features offered in iOS 6, the more I realize I am not even excited about them anymore. I don't think they will be of much use to me.

I found an easy fix that worked for alot of people. In Settings go to General then scoll to the bottom and select Reset. A list of Resets will be shown. Select Reset Network Settings. Your phone will restart and then just go into settings and turn on WiFi and select your Router. That should work.

This iOS 6 wifi problem is affecting at least the iPhone 4, 4s, and iPad 3rd gen... The wifi appears to stay on, however, no data passes... If you turn your wifi off, wait a sec or two, turn it back on, the problem appears to be resolved until you have passed a set amount of data... Once that threshold is reached, the wifi stops passing again... It will stay that way until you turn the wifi off and back on or reboot the phone or just by letting it sit untouched long enough for the wifi to turn itself off... You'll know when you pick it up and hit a button... The 3G/4g indicator switches back to wifi... It all works again until the threshold is reached... This is very weird... If you use speed test.net app and run it two or three times, it will pass enough data to shut the wifi down... You can even watch any streaming video (3-5 mins) of something that pulls a lot of data other than browsing safari of mail downloads... It's very easy to recreate the issue, we just need a resolution very fast...
