Do Not Disturb not working iOS 6

Updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 6 about 90 minutes ago and have been looking through the new features since.

Do Not Disturb is not working, I've set the schedule (in notifications) and switched on in settings but phone rings normally despite being in the quiet period. Anyone else having the same problem?

Black Powder,

It's not defective. If you have it set to be active from 10pm to 7am and you are getting calls at 3pm, it must be either:

a) The person calling you is in the Allow Calls From list, or

b) Repeated Calls is ON and you are getting a repeated call, or

c) Your phone was not locked and asleep when you got the notification/call

My guess is either a) or c).

Ah ok, now I see...

Yes, this is the confusing part:

- When setting a DND schedule in Notifications, don't turn DND ON; when you set up a schedule in Notifications, the DND software will automatically turn DND ON and OFF itself following the schedule. If you turn DND on yourself, it stays on until the next schedule change (it's a manual override)

- Turn DND ON/OFF when you want to manually enable/disable it on demand. If you have a schedule set, it changes automatically following the next schedule change. If you don't have a schedule set, it stays ON or OFF until you change it again

That confused me at first - set up a schedule, then turn it ON to enable the schedule, but the DND overrides the schedule.

I was having similar issues with this feature and after reading all the posts I did some testing of my own and discovered that it is working just not as I expected.

If you have the schedule turned ON then DND is ON permanently and it works based on the schedule and if locked etc. If the schedule is OFF then it works based on the manual selection of DND, ON or OFF.

My expectation was that with the schedule ON then DND would toggle ON and OFF based on the schedule but this is not the case.
