NO STREET VIEW ON MAPS????

Google has confirmed there is no google maps ios6 itunes app, and they do not currently plan on making one available at this time either.

Apple has refused to relicense the google maps software

so your options are get used to apple maps, use google maps via browser, or go get a galaxy S III

Google is not concerned with the revenue lost by ios6 users considering that Android holds the top marketshare for mobile smartphone devices. They are actually enjoying watching Apple squirm, and see no point in helping out their competitor who also refuses to relicense the mapping software

I have the iPhone 4, and have upgraded os twice now, to find out all those cool features, you don't get. And this time you actually lose features, because of Apple's little spat with Google. I for one am pretty sure this will be my last iPhone. Oh look, they changed the adapter AGAIN, last time you thought it would work because it looks the same, but no, the pins are different, so it will only play, not charge your phone in the car, you have to buy a new one.

So if you have a 4, last update you didnt get Siri, Face recognition, etc. only for 4s. but you did get that great Newsstand icon that you cant put in a folder, it just takes up space on that empty desktop tab, thanks.

This patch, more updates to the camera, panoramic, but not for you, only 4s, and above. Turn by turn directions, and flyover, not for you, 4s and above. And that is on the new and improved Apple maps... No APP yet for Google maps, and you also lost the YouTube shortcut, because, well because Google are meanies, so we make it harder for YOU, THE CUSTOMER, to get to the things you love, that they offer. Thanks again Apple.

I really reget i've updated my iPad. I am starting to hate Apple instead of loving them. They are getting moee and more arrogant. Next tablet will not be from Apple!

After using Maps for a few days now, I think the app is pretty good, just no street view, use another street view app. I like the way I can just ask Siri (on the iPad )for directions and my turn by turn map is there. I live in the Bay Area and I have not seen any mistakes so far. I have a lot respect for the Apple team and I am sure in time they will have THE Map App!

For anyone who needed to use Google's Streetview in a serious manner in the past, the alternative Live Streetview isn't really adequate. The view is too small, slow and you can't really interact with the images - no zooming in to check house numbers.

This latest iOS update is quite unwelcome and seems only prompted by some corporate hissy fit with Google. To those, including Apple, who suggest we should get over it, I'd like to be around when they drop their car in for a service and Ford, having had an argument with Firestone, decides to swap their original high performance offering for some rubbishy old cross-ply rubber. Upset now?

Just get the "Streetviewer" app. - a good alternative IMHO.

This ***** so bad!! My whole company uses Iphones and Street View is gone. We are hoping and praying that Apple allows street view back or we have to go to Droids. We are residential service business and no street view means no quotes. I just read in New York Times that Google is going to. Keeping fingers crossed. Two weeks away from leaving our beloved Apple.
