I tried the date reset about 50 times...Never worked!!

Then I decided to try and load an app that was "passbook ready"...WALGREENS...It will ask you if you want to use passbook and then will pop it right in!! I was also able to load Target (It is only set for mobile coupons and when you finish the waaaay long application to that, scroll to the bottom to request Passbook)

Some of the others (United, ticket master, ect) do not let you load until you PURCHASE (boooooo!!!) Lastly, Starbucks doesn't come on board until the end of the month. (Double Boooooooo!!)

Hope this helps everybody! :-)

For me, I found this was a larger problem with the App Store itself. For some reason, even though my iOS was updated, the App Store was still stuck on the old UI. It had all of the old panes along the bottom and none of them except "Featured" and "Updates" would connct. I got the error message with all three of the others. If your problem is stil persisting, you may want to check the App Store on its own, without going through Passbook, and I'll bet at least some of you have this error too. It took some weird steps which, frankly, I can't even remember at this point - it was late and I'm sick. But I finally got the App Store to flip to its new UI, with the new panes, and then the various panes started to connect properly; all except one. One that worked, then the Passbook thingie worked too. So, I am beginning to wonder if the problem is rooted in the App Store, not Passbook.
