ios 6 failed iphone

After installing ios6, which kind of failled, my iphone 4s is not responding anymore. I tried the same with my itouch 4gen, same problem. Both devises are not working/responding at all. Pls help

@depmode - this is what I'm trying right now, too (plugging it into another computer). So far it's being recognized and seems to be restoring my phone. Not quite done yet, but I'm crossing my fingers! My only choice was to restore it to factory settings. I wonder if once it's restored, if I can plug it back into my iTunes and sync it to get my "stuff" back??

@TraceyinAZ. That's what I did. Restore at the other computer and it also updated the new ios6. At the end you can restore from the cloud, if you have your data there, or choose "new phone set up". Unplug. Go to your computer and restore your backup. Done. It takes time, but it worked! Mine is working fine again;-)
