Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I was attempting to backup my iPhone 4s before installing iOS 6 and after downloading the update and attempting to update my iPhone, I got an error message that stated: "iTunes could not back up the iPhone " .......iPhone 4S" because the backup was corrupt or not compatible with the iPhone. Delete the backup for this iPhone, then try again." How do I delete the back up already on my computer?
I have been able to locate the folder, any pointers on how I should recognise a corrupt file or broken link so that the backup will execute?

Thing is i checked for prefrences & went to DELET BACKUP . but der is no such file. ..so ****** off
now .. i want to upgrade my iphone to 5 but cant do till i get proper backup

you can backup your iphone through iCloud and restore your device then restore from icloud backup
if it wasnt for ppl having the same problem and discussing it, id probable hate Apple.
