iOS 6.0 maps

I've just updated to 6.0 and where on the whole maps is doing great I have noticed a few issues that will majorly affect its usability. I like in Morecambe, Lancashire, UK. Maps says this does not exist... I do however now live in 'Middleton' they've also decided that Crosby and Bootle, both parts of Lancashire, now belong on the coast of north Cumbria... Has anyone else had any problems with Maps and if so what are they?? Please fix this Apple!!
