ios6 won't connect to wifi

Ask SIRI what happend,

She wouldn't tell me. :-(

SOLUTION (at least it worked for me!)

I fixed it by turning cellular off, allowing it to connect to wifi, then turning cellular back on.

Settings - General - Cellular.

Switch to OFF

Let it connect to wifi, then switch back on.

Seems to be working now.

Same problem.

I put the aircraftmode on and of and my wifi was back again.

If you are having the issue where it takes you to a login page, goto Settings > WiFi and tap on the blue button to the right of your network name. There'll probably be an option to auto-join and you'll want to toggle that. If it's off, turn it on then back off. If it's on, toggle it off. If prompted to login again, just hit Cancel in the upper-right. Now goto Safari app and you should be prompted to connect to your network at which time it should work. It did for me at least and a friend of mine.

i had issue for about 5 minutes then it went away.

here's how i fixed it:

* Tap the blue chevron in the wifi list and choose forget this network

* rejoin the network manually

My 3GS has the same problem since upgraded to iOS6.

I tried some and find a way. This is what I did.

1. Within the Log In screen, go to iCloud page by tapping

Menu bar located top in Apple page.

2. Choose "Install find iPhone" even if you already have it.

It will redirect you to App Store automatically. Then install or update it.

At this point, you will find your WiFi connection is okay.

3. My 3GS seems okay by using the way above but still

request Log In sometimes. Running "Find iPhone" will solve the problem so far.

I fixed the problem by turning off my cellular network in setting then logged in to wifi then turn my cellular network back on. I also turn on and off airplane mode I don't know which fixed the problem for me.

Oh My Gosh people STOP posting the same thing over and over again! If you have the issue read one of the 6587 postings already posted here. If you fixed yours let everyone figure it out by reading one of the 6587 posting saying the same thing over and over again.

ok, upgraded my 4S and iPad3 this morning, all installed fine, and now i cannot connect to my WiFi at all, i have tried all the things suggested and still nothing, any ideas?

iPhone 4S - There seems to be a few variations of this WiFi problem. Mine is the slide button to turn on WiFi has stopped working! Can't slide it at all! Tried all of the suggestions so far but no good! Come on Apple.

Only thin i suggest as i had similar issues is to restore the phone! using itunes and then continue as a new install and not as a back from..
