ios6 won't connect to wifi

I just upgraded my phone to iOS6... When I got home, I noticed that I was on 3G, so I tried to connect to my home wireless network through the Settings control panel. The phone connected for a second, then went back to 3G, and a window opened to Apple.com titled "LOG IN" with a message along the top of the page saying "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found." I was not trying to use Safari. This was almost as if I was trying to log onto the network at Starbucks or some hotel where you have to go through a gateway to get to the internet.

What do?

Apple iOS Big fial issue same issue here in Australia , Suddenly Morning ( i had iOS 6 4 beta for my Ipad and iphone) both facing same issue. rested router firmware chanel no issue with wi-fi at all its problem with apple iOS 6.

Same issue. iPhones and iPad will not connect to my Airport Extreme wireless router. My iphone was working, but then I reset the router password because I couldn't remember it and now, nothing works.

Same here in UK. iPad 3 fine, iPhone 4S now completely useless. WHY oh why do I upgrade iOS on the first day? Will I never learn?

I just tried turning WiFi off an on (again...I've tried this a few times). Now it works. Weird.

Seems to work now. I guess something went wrong on their end. 5min ago I couldn't log on to my wifi, now all is well & good again.

I wasn't having problems with joining my network until a few minutes ago. I just updated my iPad 2 and now neither my iPhone 4S nor my iPad work over my WiFi. Tried the reset network settings on both devices without any luck...

Same issue on iphone 4s with ios6 update. The only way I was able to get it to connect was to hit the 'back' button in network settings AS SOON as it logs into your wifi. If you wait a split second longer it tries to go that "hmmm the page you're looking for doesn't exist" page at apple.com.

Same problem here. I had a working iPad 2 with IOS5. After the upgrade it goes through the small setup process and won't get past select the wireless. I always get "Hmm, th epage you're looking for can't be found." Now here is the kicker - the page is actually drawn from the internet. I can click on any link of that apple page and they work. So I am clearly connected. Therefore the problem is with Apple's website and not my device. Here is my proof. If you just type in HTTP://www.apple.com/whocares as a weblink in your computer, you get the exact same error as I get during my setup. So the setup process tries to reach a link that does not exist on Apples page.

Am on the phone with them now.
