ios6 won't connect to wifi

I just upgraded my phone to iOS6... When I got home, I noticed that I was on 3G, so I tried to connect to my home wireless network through the Settings control panel. The phone connected for a second, then went back to 3G, and a window opened to Apple.com titled "LOG IN" with a message along the top of the page saying "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found." I was not trying to use Safari. This was almost as if I was trying to log onto the network at Starbucks or some hotel where you have to go through a gateway to get to the internet.

What do?

My 4s will not connect to wifi i installed ios6 at 9:40am this morning and it was running great till 4:00pm then the wifi just stoped try restoing it and every thing still nothing. i have no service at my house and the only way i can text is with imessage and with no wifi i am f@*&ed 😀

Resetting the network connections fixed this problem for me on my iPad 3. I still get sent to that weir apple page but it stays connected to my wifi network. Only seems to be a problem with networks I was previously connected to before the upgrade.

I turned my iPhone 4S off and back on again - std. way, not hard reset - and it worked fine after that.

I updated all my apps through iTunes, then reconnected my phone to iTunes and updated all the apps on my phone and now the issue seems to be resolved. I'm guessing it was somehow related to one of the apps on my phone that needed to be updated.

Was having the same issue. My battery was low <15%. Put it on the charger and when I got around 25% it connected just fine and stayed connected. Some sort of poor power save feature?

Okay, all I did was write my above post and went back to my iPad2. I selectd my network and tried turned on "auto join", (which I had already previously tried), and the internet connection stayed. I was able to finish the set up for iOS6. Hopefully when my iPad2 sleeps, it will remember the wifi when it wakes up.

Having exact same problem, it worked fine on wifi till 6:45PM ET and since than nothing, RESET the Network settings twice, Did Froget this network twice, my other devices on Wifi are woking fine except iP4 16GB on iOS6... What Da ****? Steve Jobs will not be Happy!!!

Yup, Iphone 4s with iSO6 had same problems, just reset your network connections and it'll solve it. Just did it to 2 phones outta the 3 here. Hope this helps!

Everyone who's been having a problem on this, I think I found the solution.

You simply have to put your password for the wifi connection once again. You do that by following this:

Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings

Hopefully this helps out =)

may sound weird, after updating apps over 50mb ( pages, iphoto ) it connected to wifi. ***
