iPad 3 ios6 wifi issues help!

I don't know why but it's working now on my IPAD2.

1. Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data

2. WLAN> Forget this Network

3. Choose the network and hit the password

4. Done

My IPAD has been doing online at least 10 minutes without disconnecting issues. Hope it's working on your IPAD.

there may be other fixes byt restoring my Ipad - first deleting the ipsw file from my macbook pro so it woukd get redownloaded then doing a restore followed by a restore from backup and a sync seems to have fixed the wifi problem of it trying to go to that non existant Apple page

I had the same issue with WiFi disconnecting and going back to 3G on my iPhone4.

I have just noticed that under my WiFi settings there is an "Auto-Join" toggle switch. This was off for my main WiFi network, which meant that my phone would not auto-connect if Wifi dropped for any reason. I think your phone automatically disconnects from WiFi if you make or receive a call.

I dont remember seeing this in IOS5, or maybe it reverted back to off after the upgrade.
