I updated to IOS 6 but my WiFi won't work!

Whenever I try to connect to my wifi it will do it for like 3seconds then stop. Why isn't my wifi working?!?!

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6

Something wired happened here, I was having same problem, upgraded and wifi worked, then soon after it wouldn't work and sent me to some apple web site, now working and I didn't do anything. It concerns me that wifi connection is in any way related to an apple web site, surely that's a private connection, why would it ever route to any apple related site? Bad problem and scary too! I doubt we'll ever get an explanation that's entirely truthful! Still love apple stuff though, generally works well... I'll chalk this one up to experience and look out for any explanation for what really happened there for a while!

Mine is doing this exact same thing. My iPhone 4s wifi stopped working when the update became available. I assumed once the update was taken care of, it would be fixed. I updated my iPhone4s and iPad at the same time (iPad wifi was working fine); and now neither will connect to wifi. Come on Apple... Tried all the tricks above, and not one has worked

I suspect it's doing something when connecting to ANY Wifi network that involves a step in the process that goes to an apple site (maybe runs some external program not naitve to the internal OS) and said Apple site might have been experiencing some issues.... just a guess.

Mine seamingly corrected itself for both devices without any special action on my end other than patience.

I updated to IOS 6 but my WiFi won't work!
