APPLE WITHOUT WIFI EVERYONE OF YOUR PRODUCTS WILL SUCK. SO FIX THE WIFI CONNECTION PROBLEMS.

No one cares what the product can do when all they are focused on is the slow or stopped wifi connection

I Have iPad 2 iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. iPhone 5 has the slowest wifi speeds of them all. I am going to send it back. Remember when the lowercase i in iPad and iPhone stood for Internet??

PLEASE DON'T LET THE APPLE HATERS WIN THE ARGEEMENT ANDROID IS A BETTER PRODUCT.

Apple customers have (and will always) expect the best, that's what APPLE always provided.....

After upgrade to iOS 6 on my 3GS (late 2009) from iTune, I can enable WiFi, but I am left with the extremely weak signal issue. It now has extremely weak WiFi signal from areas I used to get very strong signal. I now need to be within 12 inches of my home WiFi access point for the phone to pickup the signal. And the connection drops as soon as I am getting more than 12 inches away.

Same behavior from our WiFi at work -- I can no longer connect on the corporate WiFi from my office space!!

I also went to the Apple store in San Jose, and the phone was not even able to pickup the Apple WiFi signal from the middle of the shop!!! This very same phone was working flawlessly on 5.1.1 before the iOS 6.0 upgrade. I tried all the tricks people said to no available. Nothing works. My phone is useless now because of Apple!! Isn't this a trick to force people changing to newer phone?? Now I am using too much from my 3G plan and it will cost me moneys because of this..

Apple starts to look like a Lemon to me..

I live in Chengdu, China and I also tried all solutions proposed

I have 2 new iPADS; one with ios 5 (no Problems), one with ios 6 Problems, new iTOUCH4 ios 5 (No probems)

I also have 3 NETGEAR JWNR2000 (purchased in China) in office, University and home

the only places the iPAD DOES NOT work in at my office, University and home.

I believe it is a router conflict with new ios 6... I am now looking to try to change router firmware

So far no support form Apple... Purchased Apple equipment last month... maybe a mistake

After upgrading last week, I am unable to connect to wifi on my iphone 4. I can connect occassionally if I stand right beside the wifi access point to pick up anything. This is happening on numerous other wifi sources that once had strong connectivity and no problems with. My macbook pro has no problems whatsoever. Seriously frustrating. Was planning on buying the iphone 5 now I'm reconsidering altogether as this is causing such a major problem. Huge disappointment and massive discredit to Apple.

I bought the iPhone 5 and compared it to my iPhone 4S in terms of Wifi speed. The iPhone 4S was consistently faster. Wifi speed test after wifi speed test the same out come. I don't know how you use your phone but if you're connected to Wi-Fi for most the day I highly recommend the 4S. Cheaper, faster wifi, and battery last longer. 4g is a great way to rack up that phone bill. $

This is NOT fixed and I am getting pretty po'ed as as my data limit has been exceeded on the affected device.

I upgraded an iPhone4, ipad2, itouch4 and iphone 4s to iOS6 all within an hour of each other on Sept 21. The ipad2 was seamless. The iTouch and iPhone 4 would not connect to home wifi initially but I did network restore and voila, fixed instantly. As for the iPhone 4S? NOTHING has worked! I have tried every suggestion that I have seen online - including a full rese and restore and it still will not connect to home or any wifi. The wifi button is greyed out and cannot be activated.

Way to go Apple!

This is completely ridiculous. My household is 100% apple including my Airport Extreme. All of my iOS devices are dropping their wifi signal, if they connect at all.

The network is showing up but it never connects to it.

With so many apps requiring a data connection, its completely pointless to have an iPhone with no wifi.

I have tried all of the "fixes" posted on here and am conviced its just sheer luck if one of them works for you as its not an actual fix.

So much for Apple "just working"

RIP Steve Jobs. If anyone ever doubted the impact you had on the individual consumer, they don't now.

For what is worth, I upgraded to IOS 6 and immediately notice the indicated WiFi signal strength has gone way down on my IPad 2 on my home network. Used to get max strength in my loft, now I'm lucky to get 1 bar. If I try to connect from the loft, IPad finds no networks. I need to bring the IPad down to the main floor near the router and it connects with no problem. Although, I still don't get a full signal strength indication, even with the IPad a foot from the router. At least in my case, this appears to be a reception issue...could Apple have screwed up the antenna sensitvity settings......? FYI, I've tried all the techy suggestions posted here...none affect how my IPad is acting.
