After a bit of tinkering and looking through the forums on T-Mobile as well, I have MMS working as it should once again. I can only see updating to 6.0.1 on my iPhone 4S, that the MMS function wasn't working despite being enabled.

I can share pics again! I was having flashbacks to my first generation iPhone. Emailing pictures since MMS didn't exist.

I will be uploading a tutorial video on how to do this, it should be noob friendly and will be up today. I followed the steps found in this thread. So credits belong to him for writing out the steps: gemsimmx (link:

Has anyone tried the latest iOS update?  6.0.1.  Supposedly they addressed this issue.  Please reply o this thread if you upgraded to he latest version (released this week) and send text pics.

just updated to iOS 6.0.1 - still not able to send MMS. believable.

APPLE - you are such a dissapointment lately!

there is a compatibility issue between imessage/mms of ios6 and comcast. Comcast customer service could not offer any solution so I hope Apple solves this problem.

Well, I gave up. I bought a strait talk sim and now I have working data and mms. You can look back at my other posts on here to see my whole situation. I couldn't get gophone to work no matter what. Once I got the ST sim you basically do the same thing that I tried from here with the Tmob sim. Never could get it to work. But with ST it worked. So I'm out. Good luck to everybody, and if it still won't work for you either, try stait talk like I did and maybe that will work out for you too. Peace.

I'm on Comcast and have had no issues at all with the iMessage service and other features while using T-Mobile as my carrier.

What kind of router or modem are you using? My old router I had was giving me issues in the past with some apps and services but I called Comcast and had my modem swapped out for the Comcast modem/router combo and not only are my issues gone, speeds are faster as well.

You're a genius.  I tried every which way to get this working, but it didn't occur to me to power down while in the APN screen and then power back up with my regular SIM.  This was the part of the process that made all the difference!  While the phone is busy searching for the signal, you have time to get back into that screen.  It's the only way to have that screen open using my own SIM, which is necessary for the changes to "stick".

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

good that it worked for you. my instructions are a bit long and there may be some steps that could be skipped. but i just laid them out just as i did it. thinking anybody who reads will get the idea behind and you're one of those unfortunately, my MMS stopped working. Its working now after changing the APN settings (different from what was shown from my instructions and simpler). I bought an AT&T Fusion prepaid phone, put my SIM on it, after it got AT&T signal, went to the APN settings and applied those to my iPhone 4S. Then, returned the prepaid phone my wife's happy now since she likes taking/sending pictures which isn't bad for $25/month plan.

Just put in your t mobile sim while phone is on and go to stetting>general>sellular>cellular network and you will see apn settings. Stay on that screen and take out your t mobile sim put back in your gophone sim and click back into cellular network before it closes. Then enter the apn settings and right after you click out of it try sending a picture and is should work. Worked flawlessly for me.

Try AT&T wap cingular profile or do the sim trick. The sim swap tricked worked for me.
