Trouble downloading Apps after iOS 6 update

Hi everyone couldn't download apps after updating as many of you - settings- iTunes -sing out- sign back in. It helped me

OMG!!! All my updates and new apps were waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally I discovered they were waiting for 5 songs to download from icloud. Once I went into the purchased section of my downloads I was able to clear the pending ones - and now all is good. I wish I knew this 4 days ago.

Seriously, what is wrong with the iOS6 update process? I do not remember ever having stalled updates before moving to ios6. Now I have stalled updates on three different devices. Also, the number of app updates since the ios6 release has been ridiculous. If I delete and reinstall the stalled app, it helps clear the queue, but why does this keep happening???

it back on, then logged back in and it finally

I have synced my iPad to iTunes. I have signed out and signed back in. Nothing seems to work. Very disgusted with the upgrade.

How do you delete pending downloads in the new iTunes Store? I've tried swiping and have not been successful.

I just turned my iPad off and on again and have not had a problem, works just as before. Hope this works for you

I had the same problem with the new iPad. I returned to the app on the home page, tapped on it which gave me an error message, but allowed me to close the app in the update panel. I then went back to iTunes and updated from scratch, it worked first time.

I just finishing doing the security questions, and it will work again

I was also stuck.

The hint with the stuck download in iTunes did it for me.🙂

Recommendation: Dig deep into iTunes and look for anything which is stuck in downlading or preparing.

For me a music file was stuck and apparently blocks ANY further downloading.

It must be frustrating posting a response from the GENIUS BAR and people don't seem to pay attention! You posted your response one day after the initial question too.

Literally I have same problem to download and updates apps in my iPad 4 ,if I tab to download n updates in get stuck to showing waiting ,I did try to sign out >reboot >sign in still I couldn't download and update,even I don't have any thing pending downloads in queue of iTunes Store
