Trouble downloading Apps after iOS 6 update

I was able to fix the problem using my laptop/iTunes 🙂

Using the iPhone 5 and nothing will download. I've heard people having wifi problems but my phone connects no problem so I'm thinking its the apps/store. Garage band has been loadin now for a good 20 minutes with nothing to show for it.

Yes, Ido have a problem because when I finished my software update IOS 6 when I went to the App Store about 2 days after I downloaded the new IOS update I was waiting for it download then until then it was still waiting, so i thought maybe I need to download another so downloaded 3 more now and I waited but nothing happened!!! All I saw there was WAITING!!! And plus I been waiting for it since Tuesday already and I downloaded the Apps on Sunday and I added the 3 Apps today that is Tuesday and if you have an ANSWER I'd appreciate it because I've been wanting an iPad my whole life and it was given on my birthday 12/22/03

i had the same problem: updating apps are waiting and also new apps did not download.

solution:

in the itunes app on the iphone there where many (> 500) pending music downloads. i use itunes match and the iphone wanted to download the music files first. it did not help to switch off itunes match or logging off and on in the settings - itunes

-> i had to delete every single track in the itunes download section on the iphone (i could also have waitet some hours, until all the tracks where downloaded).

as soon as there where no downloads in the queue anymore, the apps started to update and load.

same solution should work for the ipad

thanks for your post as it was the only thing that worked for me. I typed in my security answers so many times that I cannot remember now what the correct ones are.

I did a system restore to my phone after iOS 6 update and now I cannot download any of my 62 books/pdf's that I had on my iPhone. I deleted all of them from my iTunes, went back to my external hd and redownloaded them to iTunes, closed iTunes and restarted. All of my books/pdf's are there, only a small handful of them are loaded on my iPhone even afer syncing several times. I have done a soft reset today as well: no luck.

How to proceed?

On iPhone 4, 4s and 5 and Ipads, go to settings, and locate Store. Click your Apple ID and sign out on Store and then re-sign in your Apple ID, and session timed out issue will be fixed. I tried this myself and confirmed working =) Good Luck.

i just turned my ipad off and on again and they are all there and working even the newly downloaded ones

Ugh

This did help but my application was "iTunes U". I did olen the iTunes U and let it finnish the synk process. Wien done all my hanging apps did dowload successfully.
