Trouble downloading Apps after iOS 6 update

after i upgraded to ios 6 on my ipad 3, appstore lags like **** and the games category is gone

I guess I am another with the same issue. 21 App updates on my IPad2 all waiting. Already tried multiple Syncs, and nothing stuck in the download queue, hard reset of the IPad and logged in any out on both PC and IPad. Which is a complete **** since I am Djing tonight with it!

I am not sure why this worked but I happend to go to iTunes on my iPad and was paying for a movie, this time when it asked for my id and pw and security questions, it allowed me to complete it. Then I went to the app store and now I can download again. Odd?

Not sure why I did it but I tried to upgrade my IPad 2 with the IOS 6. My ITunes does not recognize my IPad and on my IPad, I have the Apple emblem and a downloading bar that is empty. Please help if you can.

How did you fix your IPad?

My problem sounds similar but after I downloade IO6 I trided to down load my apps but I have all the apps that I downloaded for free, but all the apps that I paid money for have disappeared and when I downloaded the the new I-tunes version about two weeks ago I lost some of the album art work that I used to have and even bought from the I tunes store. What the heck!!!

Time for a mea culpa, my "duh" moment. After many times trying to log in to the iTunes store after updating to iOS 6 and getting denied, I went to my Keychain (place to keep passwords on a Mac for you PC folks) and found that there is a capital letter in my password. Since the iPad remembered my password previously, I hadn't entered it in some months. Used the capital letter and voila, I'm in and can now access the iTunes store and do updates from my iPad.

User error wins again. Thanks to all for the suggestions and hope the rest find success. The joys of a new operating system.

Yes. Since OS 6 I have not been able to see my purchased apps. Just a white screen with a spinning circle until the whole app crashes.

I installed ios 6 earlier without any problems. However when I try to download an app it tells me I have to make 3 security questions. So I do this and every time it tells me that my session has timed out when I submit them. I've tried making sure the time and date are right. I've also tried signing out of my apple Id and back in. Nothing helps. Is there a way to fix this?

I did all that too. Same frustrating story.

Then I called Tech support and gave my serial number to an automated system.

Coincidentally, or magically, when I tried to download apps again, it worked! No 3 security questions to be answered!

I also at same time received a receipt of an app I paid for last week. Like something "cleared". Maybe the 5000000 iPhone 5s that were sold in the last 3 days have been blocking system up.

Exact same thing happened to me. Spent weekend talking with Apple tech support. What solved problem was going into safari under settings, clearing the history and cache. Finally I was able to get past 3 questions and download new apps. Hope it works for you too.
