Is anyone else experiencing battery drain since iOS 6 update?
iPhone 4, iOS 6
yep im having the same issue since i update ios6 before that my battery was working very long..iphone 4 ios6
This has clearly been answered already, but I came to the forum because I was having this issue as well. I am very religious about having all of my apps killed as soon as I finish using them. I've checked all of my location services to make sure they're all off as well. The only form of location that I normally have on at all times is find my iphone. I have changed absolutely nothing about how I would normally use my phone today versus yesterday before the update. My phone is in my pocket for the 8 hours that I'm at work every day except for when I'm on break. I was blown away when pulled my phone out quick to check a text message and saw that my battery was already at 64%! By the time I was half way through my day, it was showing 42%. It's almost textbook that my phone is at about 75% percent half way through. That's a BIG difference. I hope they get this taken care of.
I did a restore/update on my 4S then restored from backup and i have noticed a drastic increase in battery life..after 2 and a half hours at work i was still at 100% by the time i was there for 4 hours , it had only dropped to 94%....
hi i tried one thing nw aiting for the positive responce.
go to settings>privacy>location services>system services> (extreme down) try to off the services which u dnt want .hope fully it should be better than before......

No not having any different battery drain then I did before. Works great.
specifically try to remove passbook's location service
In the past removing and then adding the email accounts fixed the issue, (because usually it was one of theemail clients talking to the server over and over again) not this time 😟
I have deleted all email accounts, turned off location services and killed all apps, and still the battery is draining away at an incredible pace.
How do I go back to IO5?
some one with a meaningful solution?
thanks
Noticed this today on my 4. I normally have over 70% by days end. I got the 20% warning 10 minutes ago, then now the 10% warning. iOS6 update, and don't see anything out of the oridinary running (I kill apps all the time)
I have a iPhone 4 and battery life since io6 has been bad. I sat in class with no apps running in the backround for an hour and a half and 20% of my battery was gone. They need to get a patch out for this asap.
Same problem. Seems like my iphone 4 goes down 2% per minute when i use it and 5% every 30 minutes just in my pocket. Hope this gets fixed, i dont wanna have to carry my charger in my pocket everywhere i go.
Me, too. iPhone 4 upgraded yesterday. Since then, my battery is draining at about double the normal speed, if not slightly faster. Help, Apple!
I just saw that today seems about half the life of prior to the update
Thanks to all for comments and helpful tips. I thought it might just be me that was having issues with my battery drainage.....
Used my 4s the same as every other work day. Usually come home with about 60% came home today with 17%.
