Cannot get mail the connection to the server failed

dont know if anyones tried this or posted it but this works for me ....bascally make sure your junk and your trash folders are empty

Try changing password on iPhone.

Go to settings,

Go to mail, accounts, calendar

Go to account

Change password

All I can say is that it rocked for me.

Got fix for can't get mail...Go to setting...click contacts ...click email account..click delete account..click add ACCOUT ....reenter your email address and password. Works fine now.

If you change your password to your email on a desktop or laptop you have to go in and change it in your settings on your iphone as well

Update apple Id and password, this worked for me!

Go to general go to bottom click reset and then Reset network settings it works!

That used to happen to me as well. The most likely cause of this is that you do not have internet connection.
