iPod touch, iOS 6
They already did
Hey cwills75,so you are a graphics designer...I have the same thing that apparently you had.Except in my case there may be no hope and I would have to get an ANDROID.I cannot downgrade as all the files in my Ipod and all itunes related stuff, well I got them by luck.Anyways,if you dont mind, can you show me a few of your designs? What do you even do with your work when you finish?
Can anyone please tell me how in the world can I help my app store work again without having to downgrade. If anyone wonders,my app store just crashes the minute you enter it,but it cannot do that without saying "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".I have the 6.1.3 version, and I want my app store, and I want it now.
I have no idea how,but the last update I did was 0.6.0.Why does my iPod say 6.1.3 ? I havent done anymore updates, did the system add it automatically? And if it did,did this version fix the majorly horrible app store crash?
Repeated updates to an old device seem to miss a byte of information here and there... Think of it as editing the original, over and over, but with paper and ink....
Time to clean up, clear out and start over.
Back up your data to the computer via USB cable. Check preferences, devices to make sure you have one good back up to restore later. Manage storage on the device so you know you backed up the App data that you need back later.
Now wipe it out, reset all content and settings or restore to factory settings.
Set up like new
Dig up that back up and restore your data.
You should have all built in Apps back and a fresh, functional. No more crashing.
And you may find you have more storage on the iPod also. Updated Apps takes up more space than a new App.
This is a simple solution I found somewhere else and it worked for me. Start the Music app and go to the Store from there. If you are successful then you can start the Store app normally.
In my case the app crashed on the search page. So I discovered that first I had to do a new search to make everything work well.
Thank you, thank you! Worked perfectly!
Later I saw this is the wrong thread. In fact this answer was meant for ios 7. So a more recent issue. :-)
