You can try resetting your iPod (holding down power and home buttons until device shuts down and turns on again. You won't lose data), but if that fails, the App Store is just glitching right now. It's affecting many people, and randomly. Mine is working, and hasn't crashed once yet.😕

The same happend here. Rebooting and resertting have no result.

Can I Go back to iOs5? Was thinking to buy iPone, but when I see what happend with iOs 6, I get Great doubts, AppStore doesn't work, Maps is went back in time, no more Google Maps nor Streetview.

Do I really have to chose for Android?

Submit a Report to apple, saying the app store crashes. They will soon send you a Solution for it.

I am having issues with multiple apps crashing. Even the apps that state they are IOS 6 compatible. Facebook even crashes which I would like to think since it is now integrated, it would not. Have already deleted the iOS 6 update I used from iTunes and redownloaded it. Restored twice now with out the back up just the new update. Liked this ipad lot more before iOS 6...

iTech here, a lot of people are saying that apps keep crashing or showing a black screen. Apple Support has confirmed that Apple knows what's going on, and will be fixing the bugs soon, with maybe another update. But for now you can troubleshoot by restoring from iTunes, or uninstalling and reinstalling the apps. And also reset you device.

i noticed in search in the app store that mine crashes on result # 24 no matter what i search for. wonder if it has something to do wth where it always said next 25 in ios 5.

I had the blank screen I the App Store in iOS6 on my iPhone 4S. I fixed this problem by enabling Genius in System Preferences for the App Store.

I had the same problem but found that once I had rebooted my iPod everything was fine...just tap and hold down your home button and the on/off button simultaneously until the screen goes blanck and then displays the apple logo

I have reinstalled, restarted,,,, basically everything but thrown my iPad with no results. I chose " update all" big mistake. All apps are stuck including Facebook. I get there will be glitches, but this was/ is a BIG oops! I'm very sure Apple is aware but rather than just put suggested solutions when " this didn't work for me" is chosen a general statement could appear. Something, anything! I'm having gnome DTS! Lol

I have updated ios 6 on iphone 4S and ipad2. I have not noticed problems with ipad2 as yet but with iphone 4S the app store continually crashes especially when using genius. I have tried rebooting but it still happens. When will Apple come up with a solution to this problem?

I am not happy with ios6 on my iPad as well. App Store crashes, apps crashes so bad. Facebook totally disappointed me. Many apps crash. :( need to be fixed immediately.

In a few weeks, apple may release an update (6.0.1) which includes bug fixes. Until then, keep clearing out your multitasking bar to get more time with it.

Upgraded my ipod 4th generation to ios6. App Store app keeps crashing when scrolling results. Usually when I get to the 24th result, the app closes down.

This needs to be fixed, as I see other people are having the same problems.
