There is a possibility that Apple might fix this on the server side instead of iOS 6.0.1 because after all this App does work just fine on iPhone and the new iPod touch 5G. So, they just need to tweak something on the server side to properly upload the data to the iPod touch so that it does not crash. But we just have to wait until they can identity the problem!

If you ask me what the problem is, I think its the HTML5 rendering they added. The search results page behaves like HTML5. So, instead of pure native programming App Store, now parts of the App Store such as the search resultes page is now HTML5.

What are the steps to properly downgrade back to iOS 5.1.1 in iPhone 4 ?

tbh i'm complitly disapointed with Apple and tired of these small but anoying bugs..i hate how the top bar color keeps changing, the new maps are just terrible bad, app store not working at all, and at least for me, some apps are not working properly since updated to iOS 6. for example my Paypal App says it can't connect to the server, just like App Store says...

this sound more like iOS 6 Beta 3 than a RTM 😐

PS: i did perform a backup before updating to iOS6

PS2: iMessage is also failing, o have to go to settings to enable iMessage again every 10min or so

I got both my iphone 4S and the iphone 4 with IOS6 and the same problem with the appstore.

I use the POrtuguese and USA Store and in both it gives the same problem.

I cannot also access as i do it on IOS5 to the apps i buy in the past.

Simply the aapstore does not work.

The upgrades takes to many time to download, it crashes a lot.

The system is also slower.

This time Apple got it wrong....:(

Well, I am CERTAIN that Apple WILL fix this because they love to show off about their install base on the latest iOS firmware at their WWDCs. If they don't then well, I watched on Daily Planet (only on discovery channel canada) that the number of people wanting to upgrade is 16%, 48% saying NO and the remainder neutral.I am sure that Apple will sometime read this post as it is getting a **** lot of views. If they don't then here's a warning to all iPod Touch 4G users.

PS: don't think I hate Apple, apple is my #1 company. And I love the new iPhone 5.
