How can i restore back
I Was having the same issue with my iPad. The fix I found may not be available to everyone. I plugged my iPad into my Mac Mini. (How antiquated) I then restored it from a recent backup. All is working well now. The wifi upgrades seem to be super buggy. Good luck.
I was having the same issues as evryone else using my iPhone 4S with the iOS 6 update. When i switched to 4G I WAS able to access prior purchases without a crash, so it seems to be e problem with WiFi access to the app store.
thank you!
finally someone with the exact same problem...
I didn't have a problem downgrading to 5.1.1.
Did you download the correct firmware to your model?
If you want you could just stay at 6.0 and use iTunes to search and buy the Apps for now till apple fixes the problem.
i did...as far as i know is impossible to install the wrong one because iTunes doesn't allow it...
i have A1332 model so is the GSM one....also the upgrade proced to the end but start rebooting when entering on the home page...now i can't do it again because itunes keep saying a unknow error occured...f********
ok so now, for some reason, itunes doesn't open saying the iTunes folder is in a protected folder...
please kill me...!
1. cold boot, hold on the power button and home button for 20 seconds until it resets
2. restart your macbook and open itunes
3. plugin your iphone into your macbook and plug it in.
4. once itunes sees it, click on it
5. then hold on the ALT key and press restore button (if this does not work try holding the ALT key and right click on the device and selecting Restore from backup)
6. select firmware 5.1.1
7. wait until it finishes loading, it should automatically reboot after its loaded
8. your iphone should startup with iphone with 5.1.1
that's what i did already mate...
my problem now is my iTunes not working at all for some reason...i haven't done anyting on it bloody ****
Two possibilities
1. You have another copy of iTunes running that has a hold on the folder
2. Or the folder permissions on the iTunes folder has been changed accidently and not iTunes processes cannot access the files in it.
i would expect something like that yah but i have only one laptop with itunes and already went through all iTunes folders and Security is Full Control for Everyone 😟
Try creating a new iTunes library and call it "iTunes Empty" and see whether you're having the same issue.
To start a new library.
1. exit iTunes
2. hold on the shift key and click on iTunes
3. you will be prompted to choose a library
4. select a new folder
