Ok. I have the Ipod Touch 4th generation with IOS 6, but when i open the app store and go to search it automaticly crashes for me.

still the same stupid error with the host file edit...
this is getting weird by the minute...
Are you trying this over wi-fi or over usb cable?

What is the error message and number when you try to downgrade it?
And are you doing this on Mac OS X or Windows?

What version of iTunes are you using? Is it the latest version?

Yes, it does not make sense but you are supposed to put the number symbol in there. The idea is to fool iTunes and not access gs.apple.com.

Have you thought about just staying with iOS 6.0.0 and waiting for iOS 6.0.1
